Water Supply Systems Home Page

One fiberglass, 10,000 gallon tank is set into the hole which is lined with pea gravel and then backfiiled.
.
A series of pvc lines supply water to the house.

A simple manifold controls the supply to the home but Jay thought ahead and left a line to the airpark's
community water supply. If the community system comes online in the future, Jay will simply
turn a valve and
receive his water from the community system.
Jay installed a Goulds Submersible variable speed pump with a Centripro Controller
inside the tank to produce
steady water pressure to the home.
The water flows thru a sediment/charcoal filter, and is softened
before it enters the house.
Jay's system features a dry pump shutoff and a pressure drop switch that shuts down the system in case of a leak.
Jay also configured the system for rooftop collection, in case he decides to go that route in the future.

Once the plumbing work is done, it all looks neat and tidy.

According to Jay, they live in the home on and off and average approx 1,500 gallons per month.
Jay says this entire system, including parts and labor, cost approx $13,500.
